My role involves delivery of Leadership Workshops; working to develop high performing team; providing one to one coaching; mentoring managers/colleagues; designing new learning material; ensuring quality control of learning - no day looks the same
To what extent do you enjoy your programme?

My Coaching Professional Level 5 Apprenticeship was excellent - great variety of facilitated 2 day workshops; short online learning bites and opportunities for self development via podcasts; reading lists and practical application of my coaching skills on the job.
Skills Development
Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?

I mainly developed my existing skills specifically around my listening and questioning skills, how to use emotional intelligence within coaching when working with a client. My time management skills were greatly enhanced with better forward planning in my digital diary so coaching clients had visibility of my activity so they could book in coaching sessions.
Structure and Support
How well organised/structured is your programme?

The programme was well structured - good communication and a very clear timetable planning workshop activity; regular check-ins with my coach mentor; deadlines for submission/completion of the 4 modules of the programme.
How much support do you receive from your employer?

My employer support was excellent - I was ring-fenced my 20% of apprenticeship time and given the autonomy to plan my working week around completion of my apprenticeship. My Line Manager was particularly supportive and always contributed to my quarterly progress reviews with my coach mentor
How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?

My Coach Mentor from BPP was excellent - quick responses to any emails sent; a great listener; very supportive at my planned check-in sessions and accommodating late submissions due to operational pressures within the workplace. They very much worked with me to support me through the apprenticeship programme
How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?

I am now a fully qualified Coach and my confidence in all things coaching had quadrupled. The skills I learnt for the qualification have changed my day to day work and I use a coaching style of leadership on a frequent basis with an 'ask not tell' approach helping employees to solve their own issues
Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)

There are numerous staff network groups and sporting activities such as Yoga classes; running clubs.
