it was absolutely amazing, the right level of placement/learning and the support was simply outstanding
Skills Development
Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?

everything was new from emergency driving to caring for patients, supporting paramedics, all of the equipment, communication behavior and professionalism
Structure and Support
How well organised/structured is your programme?

brilliant- a face to face course initially to fully prepare us and driving course for emergency driving, then working with a paramedic mentor for the entire time of the apprenticeship and regular returns to the education centre for additional learning and support.
How much support do you receive from your employer?

the employer was the provider, we have full pastoral, educational mentor support and even a 24 /7 on call education manager to help if we needed it
How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?

NEAS was the provider, they were brilliant
How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?

simply put the qualification is the job and vice versa
