Overview of Role

Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:
5/5
My role is a compliance officer, my daily role is to be on street, ensuring legal parking and issuing pcns.
To what extent do you enjoy your programme?
4/5
Great programme can always learn something, however the role is very repetitive daily, with rare occasions of doing an operation etc.

Skills Development

Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?
5/5
I have learned new skills in compliance, gaining technical experience doing my job and a knowledge of how compliance works.

Structure and Support

How well organised/structured is your programme?
5/5
The apprenticeship it’s self was very well structured allowing us enough time to be able to complete assignments without to much stress or worry, the placement on the other hand felt they did not respect some of the apprenticeship functions etc study time and would prefer me to be doing my role rather than training, which is understandable however I am an apprentice and not full time staff so this should not be expected
How much support do you receive from your employer?
3/5
Hit and miss, depending on who it was, some senior members prioritised work outputs rather than my apprenticeship.
How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?
5/5
Always asking if I need any help, aware of my adhd and constantly checked if there was anything I needed, clear and calm communication.
How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?
5/5
With the insights of the training and all the information I have learned across the apprenticeship has allowed me to gain a valuable insight into compliance roles, it also helped me gain the confidence to be able to perform better on street.
Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)
3/5
They do have some, however most run during the work day, for office workers they are flexible for letting them work from home/ take part in this activities however for my role it’s not quite the same we are not expected to leave our duties to take part in anything during the working day unless it was agreed by management
