Overview of Role

Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:

5/5
In my role, I oversee a team of Health Advisors, ensuring that organizational targets are met and that we consistently deliver high-quality service and patient satisfaction. My responsibilities include managing attendance, monitoring performance through coaching and data analysis, chairing meetings, and enforcing policies and procedures to maintain the efficient operation of daily shifts.
The role begins at recruitment, where I participate in interviews to select candidates who align with the organization's vision, values, and behaviors. This is further supported through regular meetings and annual performance appraisals to ensure continuous alignment with organizational goals.
Given the nature of the Health Advisor role, I also provide support during challenging calls, ensuring the well-being of team members prior to and during calls. Additionally, I handle customer complaints and conduct thorough investigations into incidents to ensure proper resolution and adherence to standards.

The apprenticeship I took has really helped with my skills, particularly around building a high performing team where I have taken learning from the apprenticeship and put this into practice.

I found the structure of the program to be highly effective, with information organised across various modules that can be tailored to specific roles. This approach not only allowed me to enhance my own skills but also enabled me to better support my team and contribute more effectively to the organisation's success.
