I manager a unit of 1100 potential customers at site. With 5 members of staff soon to be two kitchens.
I’m not only in charge of the kitchen but also a 24 vending machines and making them operational.
Doing all finance work.

To what extent do you enjoy your programme?

I have started on the forward program to progress my development in site to bring new innovation to the unit and push the standards on where we can go. The program has already taught me key things in sustainability and progresses we can use in unit

Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?

I have learnt all about foraging; fermentation and the importance of not only sustainability but gut health. I am also starting to understand how we can successfully create and innovate recipes and bring these into compass group the systems we use to ensure we are fully compliant

It’s amazing. Everything is organised and is very understanding if plans need to change due to family emergencies

The Apprentichip program and staff have been amazing for this. Could be work within my company on giving allocated time etc

My training provider is very helpful. He comes to site as its method I prefer rather then teams very understanding and helpful with questions
How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?

I believe this program will develop me to be strong in the industry and help me progress. Showcasing the unit and how we can push boundaries and stay within budgets. Listening and keeping customers keen.
