Overview of Role

Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:

5/5
I produce BBC Introducing in Kent, Sussex and Surrey. My role is to listen to and log music for each show, checking compliance and for any explicit language.
I then create assets, order the track listing for the show, contact artists to let them know we're playing them.
I film and edit videos for social media about the show, as well as audio packages and mixers for throughout the show.

To what extent do you enjoy your programme?

4/5
Love it!

Skills Development

Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?

5/5
Tonnes, i write a whole OTJ, DDT and CPD log on these, monitoring throughout the year. My multitasking, communication, organisation, production ability and even presenting skills have grately benefitted from this year.

Structure and Support

How well organised/structured is your programme?

3/5
my job is very well structured however the balance with Bauer (my apprenticeship provider) is quite a bit less organised if i were to be honest.

How much support do you receive from your employer?

4/5
Lots, i just need to ask!

How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?

2/5
very little, they do help but only in short bursts throughout the year.

How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?

4/5
If anything, it qualifies me to perform well in jobs i havent even gotten yet!

Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)

4/5
yes, lots of networking amongst BBC Introducing, the BBC and my own cohort.
