My role involves ensuring residents receive safe, dignified, and person‑centred care, while acting as a point of contact between residents, families, care staff, managements and working as part of the multi disciplinary team.

To what extent do you enjoy your programme?

I enjoy the Lead Practitioner in Adult Care Level 4 programme to a large extent. The course is highly relevant to my role, and it supports my professional development by strengthening my leadership skills, reflective practice, and understanding of person centred care. I particularly value how the learning links theory to real workplace practice, as this helps me apply new knowledge directly with confidence.

Yes, there are extra‑curricular and engagement opportunities at my workplace, and I am actively involved as an Engagement Champion. Outdoors activities such as Staff walk as a perfect way to a chat and connect with colleagues. BBQ & outdoors game day with great food, plenty of fun, and some fantastic prizes up for grabs for staff.
