I was given full responsibility to choose my work loads and what I want to report on. There were a few required pieces of weekly work but other than I could choose what extras I wanted to do

Given all the support I needed, weekly and daily communication with my manager who constantly gave me support. Additionally talked about skills I wanted to develop and my manager made an action plan to work on this

Company Culture

What was the company culture and general atmosphere like?

Definitely a sense of family with the undergrads. Lots of activities organised within the undergrads both in and out of work. Everyone I’ve worked with have been super friendly and easy to speak to. Definitely a sense of inclusion

To what extent did you enjoy your placement / internship?

I definitely enjoyed working in a corporate setting. It was definitely a change to the system working 9-5 everyday from being at uni and not doing the. I’ve enjoyed the role and this job has allowed me to find out better what jobs I want to pursue post uni
