i enjoy working at superdrug there’s always something to do and always a job to be doing that keeps me busy, i get on really well with all the staff.

i enjoy it all and it’s a really good job.

Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?

i’ve learnt how to be more communicative with staff and also customers, it’s helped me with confidence and not being as introverted as i was.
Structure and Support
How well organised/structured is your programme?

it’s well organised in the modules are set every month for me to do, there’s enough work that i’ll be able to complete it by the meeting up point and enough to keep me busy during my work.
How much support do you receive from your employer?

i receive loads of support from the team and they help me with anything or any questions i have, and from my apprentice teacher.
How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?

i get a lot of support and get given loads of opportunities to what i could do after with my apprenticeship and there’s no wrong answer to what i could do.
How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?

i feel like learning about it first and then being able to do it as well it really good, it build my confidence in doing activities.
Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)

not really any extra curricular per say, we do fundraising and we’ll either get dressed up for halloween or we will wear pyjamas for it.

it’s a good place to work the people are always nice to work with, you learn a lot, more than what you’d think, you look at environmental side and the financial side of a business, it’s really interesting.
What tips or advice would you give to others applying to Superdrug?
only apply if you’re willing to be part of a good team, listen to the advice of those who have been there a while they know what they’re talking about, you’ll enjoy it if you enjoy all things health and beauty.
