Overview of Role

Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:

3/5
Mostly writing stories and interviewing guests

To what extent do you enjoy your programme?

3/5
I do enjoy my programme, however, sometimes I feel like an after thought. If I didn’t ask for work I could go weeks without being assigned anything. The apprenticeship seems to only be great if your in a large location like Manchester and London.

Skills Development

Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?

4/5
Yes, I study at college and also some company training.

Structure and Support

How well organised/structured is your programme?

3/5
Organisation isn’t great but there is a schedule but lots of information isn’t readily available.

How much support do you receive from your employer?

2/5
I have catch ups with my manager maybe once every 1-2 months but aside from this not much support is given.

How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?

3/5
The teachers are helpful. However many of them only work once or twice a week so replies can take a while.

How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?

4/5
What I learn is really helpful in my role especially writing skills

Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)

1/5
No
