Overview of Role

Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:

3/5
I work as an operations analyst for 1 Learning management system and Product manager for 2 other learning management systems

To what extent do you enjoy your programme?

3/5
Education is a very interesting industry to work in, with unique challenges. Sometimes my role can be to operationally heavy and have to much firefighting. I would prefer to not do this as much.

Skills Development

Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?

5/5
Yes, I have learnt many skills. Being my first role in a corporate environment, Pearson has been a great place to learn.

Structure and Support

How well organised/structured is your programme?

4/5
Pearson provides a great structural support for apprenticeships. People managers are aligned with requirements and supportive when needed. This I believe, is due to the cultural influence of the apprenticeship team who ensure that apprenticeships are accessible to all.

How much support do you receive from your employer?

5/5

How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?

4/5

How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?

4/5

Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)

2/5
Pearson has had a 5-A-Side team but unfortunately does not host many social or networking events. The apprenticeship team hosts events which are fun and beneficial. Pearson as an organisation are very disappointing in this area.
