The role involved lots of admin and resolving issues with in the operations team. These roles help individuals learn all about senior positions within insurance as the day to day work will allow you to understand how to action other roles in the future.

To what extent do you enjoy your programme?

I really enjoyed my programme. I was able to learn so much through paid qualifications at Beazley and build my network. The company made made feel very welcomed and I was supported fully through out.

Skills Development

Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?

I learnt so many new skills! I came into the scheme with no background knowledge of insurance and post-apprenticeship I am still learning and loving working in insurance.

Structure and Support

How well organised/structured is your programme?

My programme flowed well and allowed me to manage my time, with a well built support network in the team and wider business I felt I was easily able to flow through my course.

How much support do you receive from your employer?

As mentioned previously, Beazley supported me so much throughout the scheme.

How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?

BPP were always available to answer any questions and had regular catch up calls to discuss progress and keep you on track. I was able to voice my concerns and ask any questions.

How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?

100%- coming in with 0 background knowledge I believe the CII qualifications I gain truly helped me embrace the learning and understanding I had within my role.

Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)

They hold volunteering days, charity events, and there are many networks that are available to join
