I'm currently in my software engineering rotation. So learning the technologies used within software developed for the underwriters to use, and also further developing my skills in C#

To what extent do you enjoy your programme?

I find that I am learning something new everyday while also further developing my current understanding. So very enjoyable.

Yes, pretty much learnt C# from scratch.

There are set rotations to get good exposure, but also the ability to be able to alter these if you see fit.

How much support do you receive from your employer?

It is made clear who you are able to reach out to in case you need support, but I have not required any so far.

How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?

There are regular coach calls, the courses are generally well structured and easy to follow.

How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?

Some modules I feel aren't fully applicable at my role or current position, but they can give good wider context at a basic level.

There is an abundance of extra-curricular activities that take place in the office and for various charities outside of the office.

There are a lot of benefits associated with the job, as well as the people in the company I have found are very friendly to work with

What tips or advice would you give to others applying to Beazley?

Apply for roles that you have genuine interest in, as it will reflect in your interviews. Understand how insurance works, even if it is not completely relevant to your role.
