To what extent do you enjoy your programme?
5/5
I really enjoy this programme as this gives me the best of both university and work. Everyone at work is friendly and easy to approach for any questions, allowing me to settle in at my pace.

Skills Development

Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?
4/5
Professional interaction, communication and a few technical skills is what I have learnt. But since I am so early into this apprenticeship (first year) it is hard to measure how much I've grown in terms of skills. I have developed my communication and collaboration skills for sure adjusting to a university format aswell as workplace culture

Balances University and assignments with work really well - there is always an interaction of both university and work in some format in a given week( i.e. assignments) which really benefits me

A lot of support - they are incredible at support and giving advice
How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?

Lecturers at warwick university are so kind understanding and really make the time there worth it - explaining our concepts in simple terms and helping us enhance ourselves
How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?
4/5
It teaches me the skills I need to truly understand what work I do and placement in teams I go to. They adapt a you learn and then you apply at your workplace technology
Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)
5/5
I am a part of JLR Badminton and have gone JLR Skiing multiple times - have also gone to JLR football and a ball before

Recommendations & Advice

Would you recommend JLR to a friend?
Yes
Why?
It's a great company with a wonderful opportunity for anyone looking to delve deeper into the engineering area. My programme helps you experience both work and university which in the long run is incredibly important (as everyone eventually begins to work) and starting at such a young age in such a company is very beneficial.
What tips or advice would you give to others applying to JLR?
Read the creators code and know their cars and what's going on in the company - having current knowledge of the company would showcase your research and genuine interest in JLR itself
