Overview of the Role

Overall, how would you describe your experience at JLR?
Fantastic. Being able to explore the business meant I learned so much and have made fantastic connections that I could then utilise further into the scheme.
What are the main responsibilities of the role and which elements of the role do you enjoy the most?
It very varied depending on where you choose to do your placements, but mine involved managing projects, doing presentations, supporting all aspects of the running of the business, learning new methods for analysis and report styles, developing and performing test methods.
To what extent does your role give you the opportunity to contribute meaningfully and feel valued by your team?

I have always felt valued by the teams I have been in, and the opportunities I have been given have always been useful for the business and not just filler work.
How does your compensation package - including perks & benefits - fairly remunerate you for the work you do?

I think t eh pay is great for a starting job, the benefits could use some updating with maybe some flexible benefits in there but overall I'm very pleased with the options
How well do you feel the role is preparing you for your future career?

I am allowed to work independently with support when needed. I am learning lots of new things and developing key relationships with people around the business
How would you rate the extent to which you were developing new or existing skills through formal training and your day-to-day role?

Constantly learning and being given the space for self development through provided online learning modules. All training requested has been supported

Flexibility in hour patterns (as long as you've had a conversation with you manager) allow for a great work life-balance. the ability to WFH when needed/preferred also adds to this

There are great resources and support systems for DE&I

I think they make a conscious effort towards this but it could definitely be better

It gives you a great opportunity to learn the corporate trade in a supportive and freeing environment. You are allowed to explore your interests and wants where budget and workload allow.

I would actually say there is more chance to explore the business than was advertised.
