Currently working within the highways division working on Highway infrastructure projects. Currently working in the detailed design phase of the project.
To what extent do you enjoy your programme?

Yes have learnt a lot of holistic and technical skills during my first 6months with the company.

Have a strong direction within the course at uni and progression at work. Feel like I have people I can go to if I have any issues.
How much support do you receive from your employer?

Very good, have a strong early careers network with a lot of support from both an apprentice and ECP perspective.
How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?

Very good so far for the first year. Lacks a bit of clarity on the EPA at the end.
How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?

Still feel I am early on in my learning so feel I learnt more through doing work in Y1, but will be more focussed learning in years to come.
Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)

Lots of all of the above, have lots of company socials and sporting events. Have an annual sports day between all the offices. Lots of professional events like Specific Apprentice and Early Careers Conferences.

Just been a great all round experience so far and have made some great friends within 6 months. Everyone is very friendly and supportive.

One in the application process they are very accommodating with opportunities to move about, so just take your chance, doesn't hurt to apply.
