Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:

As an apprentice construction manager at Mace, I support the day‑to‑day running of site activities by helping manage health and safety, coordinating subcontractors, and tracking progress against the programme. My daily tasks include attending site briefings, reviewing RAMS, assisting with quality checks and snagging, updating site records and reports, and liaising with engineers, supervisors, and the commercial team. Alongside this, I balance my on‑site responsibilities with learning and development, gaining practical experience while building the skills needed to manage projects safely, efficiently, and to a high standard.
To what extent do you enjoy your programme?

Really enjoyed my apprenticeship. Great opportunities are put forward to me and i get all the help i need.

I had very little skills or understanding in construction before my apprenticeship. So everything i have learnt knowledge and skills wise is because of the apprenticeship
