I get to manage subcontractors and their work packages whilst also being given my own areas to manage/look after.

Yes my technical knowledge of MEP services within my role has developed massively. I also feel my professional vocabulary has improved.

How well organised/structured is your programme?

The programme is very well organised. There is a set plan for role developments and pay rises. Plans are also put in place to develop me within my role. There are monthly development sessions which also develop our understanding on Mace and the industry.
How much support do you receive from your employer?

I receive lots of support from my employer, I have multiple reviews annually with the MEP sponser of the company to check my progress. I then also have weekly sit down meeting's to go through my development portfolio and college.
How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?

How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?

Helps boost my understanding of the foundations of MEP and Construction, as well as things I will be involved in day to day.
Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)

Yes there are multiple team building events each year with all the other apprentices ( like the cube game in canary wharf).

Why?
Has a very organised and set structure with an opportunity to develop your knowledge and personality. Mace also have a range of different jobs to suit anyone from Aviation Jobs, Labs, Offices, and Base builds as some examples.
What tips or advice would you give to others applying to Mace Construct?
Show enthusiasm and a willingness to learn as those two values (along with being personable) will carry you a long way.
