Overview of Role

Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:

5/5
I mostly did administrative work to support the team that I worked within. This included: arranging meetings, collating information, creating presentations, taking minutes and responding to enquiries. I also got opportunities to deliver presentations, approve products and shadow other teams.

To what extent do you enjoy your programme?

5/5
I am encouraged to work on a range of projects so that I get experience in different areas which can be exciting. It is interesting to sit in different meetings and attend events and it helps me to understand which areas I enjoy the most. I appreciate getting given my own responsibilities too.

Skills Development

Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?

5/5
I have further developed my communication skills and practiced working in many different teams. I have become more familiar with IT software and drafting emails to colleagues. I have had the opportunity to learn how to present to clients which I did not have much experience of previously.

How much support do you receive from your employer?

There are many people that I could go to for support and I was made aware of this when I started my apprenticeship. They have always been very kind, prioritised my wellbeing and listened to what is important to me.

Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)

5/5
There are many networks which we can join as well as sports teams. Some networks are even ran by apprentices. Through these networks and general work events, there are many opportunities for networking.
