Overview of Role

Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:

4/5
I rotated departments but in general, my role was doing ad hoc tasks, research, video editing and admin tasks. Day-to-day, my schedule consisted of attending meetings and completing regualr admin tasks.

To what extent do you enjoy your programme?

4/5
I really enjoyed the experiences I had and the people I met along the way. It was a unique experience and I made great friends through the apprenticeship.

Skills Development

Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?

5/5
Yes, I learnt how to use Adobe systems, as well as BBC systems and how to use editorial judgement.

Structure and Support

How well organised/structured is your programme?

3/5
My apprenticeship was very organised on the BBC side but not very organised with the training provider. More cohesion between the two would have improved my experience.

How much support do you receive from your employer?

4/5
My employer always offered support and contacts to ask for help.

How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?

1/5
The support was not very good and was unclear recieved.

How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?

5/5
It has given me the skills to communicate with others and know how to perform my role.

Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)

3/5
I sometimes attended apprenticeship social events.
