To what extent do you enjoy your programme?

I was able to gain my degree while keeping a full time job - the material and the tutors were excellent, and a s a mature student I was still able to pay the bills!
Skills Development
Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?

Yes and yes - although my degree was focused in the area of data science, it covered many other aspects such as ethics, project management, CI/CD. Some were new but others were building on what I already knew. The biggest benefit though I would say was the confidence that doing the course gave me and the people skills developed.
Structure and Support
How well organised/structured is your programme?

As a degree apprenticeship, time is given during the work week to not only attend lectures but cover additional study. Often I could relate the study material to something in my day job.
How much support do you receive from your employer?

Both my line managers during the course were 100% supportive of me and helped with any related needs I had during the course.
How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?
5/5
My course is complete but during the degree the training provider was excellent; I was sick and had to take a break in learning of 4-5 months during the course and the provider worked with me on a plan to catch up and graduate with the rest of my cohort. Without that offer of support I was contemplating dropping out. I will be eternally grateful for that help and especially from one tutor in particular (you know who you are).
How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?

I hinted at it in a previous answer - the technical skills are clearly useful but I think it was more the non-technical and how I grew on the course as a person that have made me more useful to my employer.

In my experience they will do their utmost to help you to grow in whichever direction you wish to take within the organisation.
What tips or advice would you give to others applying to Mars?
The recruitment process is likely very different now when compared with when I joined, but don't be too set on the job you hope to get with Mars. If you are successful in the process they may offer you an alternative job if they think you are a good fit for that job also, and remember, if you get the job you applied for and are successful at it, you may soon be encouraged to go for alternative roles as part of your growth.
