Overview of Role
Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:
On a day‑to‑day basis, my work primarily involves using Power BI to develop, maintain, and enhance dashboards and reports that provide clear and actionable insights for stakeholders. This includes working with data sources, transforming and modelling data, and ensuring that visuals are accurate, user‑friendly, and aligned with business requirements. I regularly collaborate with team members to understand data needs, respond to feedback, and continuously improve reporting solutions.
As part of my apprenticeship, I balance hands‑on project work with ongoing learning and development.
My role requires strong problem‑solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to communicate technical information clearly to both technical and non‑technical audiences. I also take part in team meetings, stand‑ups, and reviews, where I contribute updates on my progress and learn from more experienced colleagues.
To what extent do you enjoy your programme?

I enjoy using tools such as Power BI to work with data, solve problems, and deliver solutions that add real value to the project and stakeholders

Structure and Support
How well organised/structured is your programme?
The structure of the programme supports steady progression, combining academic learning with practical, on‑the‑job experience in a way that feels coherent and purposeful. Regular check‑ins, clear objectives, and access to learning resources help ensure I stay on track and understand how my work aligns with the overall goals of the apprenticeship.
