I find the apprenticeship to be relatively organised and structured. There are some days where you can be caught up on your courses and no immediate tasks to do so you are stuck waiting for tasks to do. However, most days are very busy.

My training provider is very helpful towards my qualifications, we have monthly lessons and bi-monthly reviews with my supervisor regarding my progress.

How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?

5/5
So far, I feel confident in my progress and has allowed me to feel more ready for my role once I qualify. I'm half way through completing and obtaining my LGV licence which will allow me to fulfil my role more.

Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)

Of course, at Thames Water, there are many opportunities to participate in Raft racing, various charity work, different types of seminars to help you in various sectors within the industry and other qualifications like obtaining Maths and English if haven't already.
