Overview of Role

Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:

As a project engineer I review risks on site and if justifiable, take on projects to then hire contractors to take on the project which is normally maintenance of a Thames Water asset, this also intels dealing with the legal side of it such as paperwork, ensuring everything is done in accordance to CDM and Health And Safety regulations, and also managing the contractors during the duration f the project.
To what extent do you enjoy your programme?

I quite enjoy the programme however I feel like it could be more tailored around the apprentice.

How well organised/structured is your programme?

I feel like it could be a lot more organised in the sense of having specific objectives on projects for an apprentice, and ensuring someone is helping you run through the whole process of a project as a mandatory. However, I do thing the structure is okay, but could do with improvement.
How much support do you receive from your employer?

I personally believe I have a very good support system but some do not have the same support system as me.
How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?

How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?

I believe a minimal amount of what I learn incorporates into what I do at work on a day-to-day basis.
