Recommendations & Advice

Would you recommend Pearson to a friend?

Yes

Why?

Because Pearson offers a supportive and inclusive working environment, strong development opportunities (especially through programmes like apprenticeships and AI learning), and a clear sense of purpose in improving education outcomes. I feel trusted in my role, supported by my team and managers, and encouraged to grow my skills while making a genuine impact for customers and learners.

What tips or advice would you give to others applying to Pearson?

Be values‑led and purpose‑driven. Pearson genuinely cares about making a positive impact on education, so it helps to show that you’re motivated by helping learners, teachers, and customers—not just the role itself.
Show curiosity and willingness to learn. Development is strongly encouraged, whether through apprenticeships, internal learning, or new ways of working (especially with digital tools and AI). Being open to learning really stands out. [Pearson Ap...Recording | Video]
Highlight adaptability and collaboration. The work is fast‑paced and collaborative, so examples of working across teams, handling change, or improving processes are valuable.
Be authentic in interviews and applications. Pearson values diversity, inclusion, and different perspectives. Being yourself and sharing real experiences tends to resonate more than giving “perfect” answers.
Ask questions. Showing interest in the team, culture, and progression opportunities demonstrates engagement and helps you decide if Pearson is the right fit for you.
