Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:

I attend University twice a week, then the other three days i am in my nursery nurse role within the health visiting team in elmbridge. I am then having placements in other nursing roles for six weeks at a time three times a year which i need the hours to become a registered Nurse.
To what extent do you enjoy your programme?

i am really enjoying the course and upskilling myself and knowledge.

i have learnt alot about children's health. i am in year two and find i am using my skills and new knowledge during my work as a nursery nurse.

My Practice assessor and line manager are brilliant in supporting me. They are very concerned about my wellbeing and we have regular meetings to ensure all is well.
How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?

this is good. The teaching is good, although sometimes a little disorganised. but generally i like the tutors and staff and my peers.
How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?

Why?
i would as the offices are very high quality to work in. The managers directly involved with me are very welcoming and supportive.
What tips or advice would you give to others applying to HCRG Care Group?
as an apprentice, you need the support of the team. HCRG are very remote working orientated as they have reduced the amount of work spaces, therefore you need to actively seek out support if you need it, however the staff do know this and so do reach out to you.
