Overview of Role

Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:
5/5
My role looks at how I can make the recruitment process more inclusive, accessible for everyone involved.
To what extent do you enjoy your programme?
4/5
I enjoyed the programme, the teaching from the provider was good and the support from our inhouse scheme specialists was great. I felt very supported through my time on scheme.

Skills Development

Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?
5/5
I have learnt lots of different skills and improved upon existing skills, from public speaking to time management and also learning how to build my personal brand and how to network.

Structure and Support

How well organised/structured is your programme?
4/5
Typically the lessons were once a week and lasted an hour and half. The coursework was due at the end of the module alongside a knowledge, skills or behaviour entry. The course was pretty well structured, only thing was the timing of the lessons could sometimes change depended on the teacher, which was annoying to keep track of.
How much support do you receive from your employer?
5/5
My team and my manager were amazing at being supportive and helpful throughout my time on the scheme. My schemes specialists were also great having monthly check ins and making sure i had everything i needed to success.
How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?
3/5
While, my tutor and the teaching team was great, there were times where my provider was the cause of stresses during my apprenticeship. I didn't always feel like i was being given the environment to succeed and felt that I need to constantly chase up or keep asking for support. This was extremely stressful especially during my end point assessment. I felt like i had to really advocate for myself to get adjustments and to feel like I was being supported.
How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?
4/5
I think to some extent the qualification helped me learn more about the different part of HR, which something i don't think i would have had exposure to if i joined the company without the apprenticeship.
Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)
5/5
Yeah there so much to get involved with from staff networks to sports teams. There something for everyone and if you don't find that there is something for you, you have the ability to make that network and get support for it. We have an amazing apprentice community as well.
