I have a HR advisor as well as a placement manager (who changes with each placement). Both support me well.
How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?

Lots. I have a separate apprenticeship coordinator who also manages my welfare. I interact with him monthly.
How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?

Many of the subjects studied, eg continuous improvement I use throughout my role.
Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)

Many internal communities, I play football however there are countless extra-curriculars clearly visible and advertised to us.

Definitely do it! Be yourself in the application process and choose the role that really suits you.
