My day to day includes collaborating with my senior analyst to digest certain data required for our analytics product. Developing our final dashboard and tweaking as necessary.
To what extent do you enjoy your programme?

There are so many great opportunities for early careers to get involved in and there is a lot of support should you be struggling or feeling confused. There are a lot of early careers who work at JLR so it's very easy to build up your network with young people that you can relate to.

There are many review points for me to check my progress. The Univerity calendar and structure is given to you at the start so you can plan and manage your timetable effectively.

How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?

My project manager is very flexible and any times that I have needed extra resources to manage my University work, they were extremely understanding and cooperative to help.
How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?

There are definitely overlaps with the modules and my role. From my experience, the best benefit you get are the higher-level concepts and practices. In industry, operations don't usually occur as taught, e.g. with SQL but if you understand the bigger-picture ideas, they definitely help you on both disciplines.
Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)

So many! The Young Professionals Network does so many fun extra-curricular activities from sports, socials, activities and more. There is always an event to have fun and socialise with your cohort.

Why?
JLR is a company that truly cares for its employees, the benefits you get are a mile above other companies in the industry and this shows as most people who work here tend to stay for many years. As the company is so large, there are so many opportunities for horizontal migration, you will be able to access workstreams that you weren't aware of and develop continuously, if you so choose.
What tips or advice would you give to others applying to JLR?
Be yourself and show how passionate you are. If you're applying for the role, most likely you have the technical ability to get accepted so you need to show why you as a person are fit for the role. Research the company, their mission, the Reimagine strategy and demonstrate how you align with these values personally.
