Before the insight, I had a general idea of asset management, but the programme made it much clearer how teams across equities, fixed income and multi-asset work together and how their day-to-day responsibilities differ. It also gave me a better sense of the range of opportunities within Fidelity and helped me understand how different roles contribute to the wider investment process.

Yes, I developed both my communication and teamwork skills during the insight. Working on three different challenges meant I had to collaborate with others, listen to different viewpoints and combine ideas into a clear conclusion. I also improved my public speaking and presentation skills by sharing our thinking back to the wider group.

The culture felt very welcoming and supportive. Everyone I spoke to was approachable and willing to share their experiences honestly, which made the insight feel much more open and engaging. I especially enjoyed the networking sessions, as they gave me the chance to learn more about different roles, career paths and what it is like to work at Fidelity on a day-to-day basis.

I really enjoyed the insight and found it both engaging and valuable. The mix of market-related challenges, team discussion and networking made it interesting throughout, and I felt I learnt a lot in a short period of time. It gave me a much clearer understanding of asset management and confirmed my interest in the industry.
