In Broadcast and Media Systems Engineering, we build, operate and support the systems that keep the BBC's linear programming on air. Each placement was different but ranged from operating internal systems, supporting end users and designing new systems.
To what extent do you enjoy your programme?

The work-side of the programme is fantastic, with plenty of variety and experiences available. The university course was well designed, but sometimes poorly implemented - however the employer worked hard to hold them to account.

I've developed an incredible range of skills since starting the apprenticeship, with fantastic access to additional experiences to gain further skills.

The employer support is best-in-class, the scheme team is always available and happy to lend an ear (or shoulder!) and will always do everything within their power to help.

Know the BBC's Values, and how you personally would fulfill them. Be yourself - the BBC is looking for someone friendly, passionate and keen to learn. You don't need to know everything, just be willing to try!
