Overview of the Role

Overall, how would you describe your experience at JLR?
My experience at JLR has been excellent. I have been a graduate for around 7 months and have spent lots of time developing and growing my skills. This being technical and soft skills. While on the graduate scheme I am also completing a graduate skill program which helps me to improve my communication, teamwork, relationships and understanding the transition from University to Work.
What are the main responsibilities of the role and which elements of the role do you enjoy the most?
While at JLR I have complete some rotations. My home department is in Dev Ops. We are responsible for keeping JLRs pipeline and software builds going. I have also worked on battery engineering and software development. I have really enjoyed working in the Dev ops team as it is a passion of mine.

Recommendations & Advice

Would you recommend JLR to a friend?
Yes
Why?
I would recommend JLR to a friend because I have enjoyed my time as a graduate so far and toughly developed and gained experience in my social and technical skills. I have achieved goals and seen myself grow and talk with people.
How well did the role match your expectations based on the recruitment process?
5/5
When considering the recruitment & onboarding process, have you any specific tips or advice you would give to others applying to JLR?
I didn't go through the same recruitment process as I got my offer after completing an undergraduate I received an offer for a graduate role once I graduate my final year. I believe the onboarding process was seem less and they facilitated as best they could. JLR suffered a cyber incident when the graduates joined and they helped us and facilitated everything which we required.
