I assist the lead Quantity Surveyors by updating documents, checking their work for errors and generally keeping on top of things.
To what extent do you enjoy your programme?

I really enjoy the day-to-day life in the office because of the satisfaction I get from completing a task. Also, I get on with my colleagues well, so makes going into work a lot easier.
It is a very good opportunity to get a degree, without all the debt.

Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?

I have learned loads of new skills, such as microsoft, powerporject, costx etc. I have also massively developed on my existing skills, such as organisation, mathematics, professional writing etc.
Structure and Support
How well organised/structured is your programme?

Extremely well organised, there is continuous APR meetings with my apprenticeship coach and my line manager, university each Monday (my 20% allocated) and a clear insight into what I will be doing in the future.
How much support do you receive from your employer?

All the support I could ask for, all my colleagues are always happy to answer any queries.
How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?

Lots of support, the only reason this is 4 stars not 5 is due to the fact I had some issues with Linkedin learning, which proved to be a bit of a struggle.
How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?

100%, I learn things in my lectures and seminars which come into my day-to-day life in work. For example, Building technology helps me understand the construction technology.
Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)

Yes, I play 5 a side on a Tuesday which is set up through work, and have played in various footballing events in work. I have also been to various networking events with my colleagues.
