I enjoy the programme a lot as I learn new things about engineering every day and I am surrounded by people that are wanting to help and very knowledgeable.

Skills Development

Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?

I have learned many new skills especially technical skills as the work I am currently doing, I have never done before. I have also learned many core skills through this programme while developing on what I had already picked up previously.

Structure and Support

The first two years are very overwhelming as there is a lot of university work alongside the professional work, also the communication between the work manager and the Early careers team is sometimes lacking and the manager is unsure of how to help.

My manager and the team support me with whatever I need.

4/5
University of Warwick helps with a lot of skills throughout this programme but there some instances where it takes focus away from work due to its high demand.
How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?
4/5
It definitely helps as there is a lot of content that comes up and it also helps you understand the engineering principles behind the work you are doing.
Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)

There are many Early careers groups where you can participate in different sports. There are also opportunities provided by the company to better or learn other skills.
