Internship situated within the GCN department. Day-to-day work included lots of MATLAB, Simulink and Python programming. Designing autopilots, guidance loops, AI, to name a few. Responsible for my own work and driving the direction of the project, with guidance from technical experts in the field in the form of my supervisor.

Support and Guidance

Just the right amount. Had a Technical Coordinator who was there for queries relating to HR/Business Processes and general on-boarding and wellbeing. Head of function (Line Manager) and the project, guiding the project direction of it and interested in milestones. A day-to-day supervisor to help with work-related queries, and a buddy on the Graduate scheme to help with anything else. A very good support system that is all very accessible and friendly.
