PMO role providing centralised support to all Project Managers, ensuring projects were mobilised consistently and in line with governance.

To what extent do you enjoy your programme?

I really enjoyed the apprenticeship and found it extremely rewarding. It significantly strengthened my project management knowledge and confidence, and I was able to apply what I learned directly in my role, which made the experience both engaging and highly valuable.

Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?

I developed strong project management skills, improved my confidence, and gained practical tools that I applied day‑to‑day in my role, making a real impact on how I manage and deliver projects. Also, One key new skill I developed was structured project planning and control. I learned how to confidently build project plans, manage risks and dependencies, and track progress against milestones, which has made me far more organized, proactive, and effective in delivering projects.

The program was extremely well organized and very clearly structured. The learning journey was smooth from start to finish, with excellent guidance, regular support, and clear milestones, which made the experience engaging, motivating, and easy to stay fully on track throughout.
How much support do you receive from your employer?

I received an excellent level of support throughout the program. My manager, assessor, and the wider apprenticeship team were always approachable, responsive, and genuinely supportive, which made me feel encouraged, confident, and well supported from start to finish.

The qualification has helped me perform significantly better in my role. It has strengthened my confidence, improved my project management capability, and given me practical tools and techniques that I apply daily, enabling me to work more efficiently, communicate more effectively, and deliver projects to a higher standard.
