Overview of the Role

Overall, how would you describe your experience at Bupa?
Overall, my experience at Bupa has been very positive. Although I am only six months into the role, I have already learned a great deal, and the culture is extremely supportive. Colleagues are approachable and always willing to help, which has made the transition into the company and the graduate scheme both motivating and enjoyable.
What are the main responsibilities of the role and which elements of the role do you enjoy the most?
I currently work within the Group Clinical team, where I support both the Health Strategy and Promotional teams. My responsibilities include helping to organise key flagship events and supporting a wide range of clinical communications. I particularly enjoy being involved in high‑impact projects and events, as they allow me to see the direct value of my contributions and gain exposure to senior stakeholders.
To what extent does your role give you the opportunity to contribute meaningfully and feel valued by your team?
5/5
There is every chance to be involved just as a graduate. You won't be invisible which can be daunting at first - but you get your chance to shine and perform well.
How does your compensation package - including perks & benefits - fairly remunerate you for the work you do?
4/5
The bonuses, and benefits are very competitive for a graduate role. Bupa clearly prioritises employee wellbeing, and this is reflected in the benefits package. Knowing that the organisation genuinely cares about its people makes the overall reward package feel especially valuable.
How well do you feel the role is preparing you for your future career?
4/5
The graduate programme prepares you extremely well for the future. The opportunity to rotate across three different teams over three years allows you to gain broad experience, develop a diverse skill set, and better understand where your long‑term interests and strengths lie.
How would you rate the extent to which you were developing new or existing skills through formal training and your day-to-day role?
5/5
There are daily opportunities to learn and develop new skills through both formal training and hands‑on work. The role encourages continuous learning, and I have already strengthened my communication, organisational, and stakeholder‑management skills.

Experience & Company Culture

How is the support you receive?
5/5
The level of support has been excellent. My team, line manager, and buddies have all been incredibly approachable and supportive. There is a strong culture of collaboration, and everyone is genuinely willing to help and make time for questions, which has made settling into the role much easier.
How is your work-life balance?
5/5
Work–life balance is strongly encouraged at Bupa. Annual leave is actively supported, and there is a clear emphasis on rest and wellbeing. If something can wait until the next working day, it is respected, which is hugely beneficial for both mental and physical wellbeing.
What is the organisational culture, values and general atmosphere like?
5/5
The culture at Bupa is very welcoming and inclusive. Hybrid working is well‑established and normalised, and there is consistent support in place to help employees work in a way that suits them best. Overall, the atmosphere is positive, open, and people‑focused.
How would you rate Bupa initiatives when it comes to equality, diversity, inclusion and accessibility?
4/5
Bupa performs very strongly in this area. There is a clear commitment to equality, diversity, and inclusion, particularly around accessibility arrangements. These initiatives feel well thought out and genuinely embedded into the organisation rather than surface‑level.
How would you rate Bupa CSR (Corporate Social Responsibility) initiatives?
4/5
Bupa is highly engaged in CSR initiatives and makes a clear effort to be involved in ethical, social, and community‑focused activities. This commitment is visible across the organisation and reflects the company’s wider values.
