Overview of Role

Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:
4/5
The role involves packaging parts into the cars that we make, speaking with a wide range of colleagues to come to the best decision. I also have the opportunity to go on placement which can significantly widen my breadth of knowledge and enable me to learn other skills by working in very different areas of the company.
To what extent do you enjoy your programme?
4/5
I very much enjoy the work and work environement and it feels meaningful, however I am not a huge fan of the degree we do - feels wishy washy and rushed. In addition, the experience each apprentice gets in the company is very different as the treatment from managers is extremely inconsistent - something that can definitely be improved.

Skills Development

Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?
5/5
I have developed a lot of time planning and organisational skills, as well as presentation and people skills whilst i have been here. In addition, I have developed my confidence reaching out to people i haven't spoken to before.

Structure and Support

How well organised/structured is your programme?
4/5
Very on a micro level (my team specific), however improvements could be made on the macro with as there are huge discrepancies with how people are treated in their team and what they get out of JLR
How much support do you receive from your employer?
5/5
How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?
4/5
How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?
2/5
A lot of it doesn't appy at all, I would have rather done a mech eng degree with the apprenticeship
Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)
4/5
yes, many sports and several others
