Overview of Role

Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:
3/5
General admin tasks relating to the automotive sector, budget management, team leadership, project management and problem solving.
To what extent do you enjoy your programme?
3/5
The work element for me personally hasn't been the most interesting nor the most relevant to my course at university. It has been difficult to access the areas of the business I need to personally develop however overall I have enjoyed it.

Skills Development

Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?
4/5
My skills in project management, confidence in presenting, and expertise in budget tracking through excel has been vastly improved since starting

Structure and Support

How well organised/structured is your programme?
2/5
fairly well organised, however the structure varies greatly from apprentice to apprentice as far as experiences, opportunities for personal development, and general day to day work tasks.
How much support do you receive from your employer?
4/5
very good support particularly from management
How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?
3/5
Ok support however the programme has left a lot to be desired, module leaders often don't communicate requirements in assignment briefs particularly clearly.
How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?
2/5
The vast majority of the training we recieve at university is not aligned to our day to day roles in the work place
Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)
4/5
Yes I attend hikes and sports socials through JLR's early careers socials
