Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:

My role entails balancing a degree at a Henley Business School that the company fund for me on top of working full time here at HPE. I have the opportunity to take part in a rotation of the company to give myself a better understanding of what I want to pursue full time. From this HPE have supported my development by putting on regular sessions that I can use to benefit me in day to day life and in work contexts.
To what extent do you enjoy your programme?

How well organised/structured is your programme?

The structure behind regular sessions that takes place helping to ensure we have the support we need as a early career starting their journey out.
How much support do you receive from your employer?

Constant 121s with mentors and regular check-ins with senior staff members proves the support I receive as a young employee.
How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?

Loads, I have regular catch up sessions aswell as the company provide me 8 hours a week to dedicate towards making sure my education is a priority and focus.
How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?

The training provider gives us the platform to have external sessions to support us and perform at our maximum potential.
Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)

Loads of extra curricular activities we get involved in from sports to professional netwokring events. I have had the opportunity to do a stadium tour around one of our companies biggest customer.

I’d recommend Hewlett Packard Enterprise to a friend as a degree apprentice because it’s a solid place to start your career—you get real hands-on experience, build useful technical and workplace skills, and generally work in a supportive environment
What tips or advice would you give to others applying to Hewlett Packard Enterprise?
If you’re applying to Hewlett Packard Enterprise, I’d say make sure you show genuine interest in tech and the company, not just that you want any apprenticeship. Be yourself in the interviews, as they care a lot about how you think and work with others, not just what you know. It also helps to understand their values and be ready with real world examples of teamwork, problem-solving, and times you’ve taken initiative.
