During my apprenticeship at Hewlett Packard Enterprise, I have developed a strong set of technical and professional skills. I’ve improved my problem-solving and logical thinking by working on real-world coding tasks, while also building proficiency in programming languages and software development practices. Through using tools like version control systems, I’ve learned how to manage and track changes effectively within a team. Working in an agile environment has strengthened my understanding of collaborative development, as well as my communication skills through regular meetings and teamwork. Recommendations & Advice

Would you recommend Hewlett Packard Enterprise to a friend?
Yes
Why?
I would recommend HPE because it provides a supportive and professional environment where you can learn and grow quickly. As an apprentice, you’re given real responsibilities and the opportunity to work on meaningful projects, which helps build both technical and workplace skills. There’s also a strong focus on collaboration, mentorship, and continuous learning, making it a great place to start a career in tech.
What tips or advice would you give to others applying to Hewlett Packard Enterprise?
Be yourself and show a genuine interest in technology and learning as HPE values potential and attitude just as much as experience. Make sure you understand the basics of software development and be ready to talk about any projects or experiences you’ve had, even small ones. It also helps to demonstrate good teamwork and communication skills, as collaboration is a big part of the role. Finally, research the company beforehand so you can explain why you specifically want to work at HPE and what you can bring to the team.
