Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:

2 days a week in my base placement learning the skills of becoming a registered nurse, 3 days a week online learning through the university to increase my knowledge and skills on becoming a nurse

To what extent do you enjoy your programme?

The programme works really well for me, I have enjoyed building my skills, knowledge and confidence in becoming a nurse. The online apprenticeship is brilliant for a work life balance and I am able to work around my home life whilst achieving the goal of becoming a nurse

Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?

I have developed my previous skills as an assistant practitioner and self management facilitator by thinking more critically, evaluating evidence based practice and improving my nursing skills

Very well organised by the university and Nottingham city care, i am able to organise my own workload and prioritise my studying around my home life
