Deployment of new and innovative food-ordering solutions into the Compass estate. That could be deployment into new contract mobilisations or into existing contracts that need an injection of innovation, tech-wise. Our kitbag covers app solutions, tills, kiosks, digital signage, order status screens, AI scanners, frictionless stores
To what extent do you enjoy your programme?

I enjoyed my programme a lot. This was mainly down to the variety of my role; visiting new and different sites weekly, meeting new people, working from home at times, collaborating with the team in the office.

How well organised/structured is your programme?

At times the structure was confusing because I would received mixed messages from different apprenticeship provider coaches. For the most part the course was conducted effectively
How much support do you receive from your employer?

I could not fault the support of my employer. They allow me to design my schedule and assign when I work on apprenticehip activities. They are also always available to meet and speak about my progress
How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?

My coach was always willing to schedule meetings. At times their responses to email was slow, this wasn't the case in most instances
How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?

My qualification provides key technical context and theoretical understanding. It also helps me to develop tools and practices to use in my role
Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)

Yes, lots of activities such as social events and conferences. Also we have a football team to get involved with

What tips or advice would you give to others applying to Compass group?
Be open and willing to speak to anyone from any background. There are so many different roles and types of people at Compass that you will get to speak to. Compass is a highly collaborative environment so people skills are essential
