Overview of Role

Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:

I take part in the design on systems into buildings. i coordinate with other engineers. I also take part in meetings with other specialsits like architects and the client to understand what we have to provide to produce the best, most efficient space for them
To what extent do you enjoy your programme?

I really enjoy it as every day is a new challenge and i am always being pushed to do something new and outside my comfort zone but have the support of other engineers if i need it

I have learnt a lot of new skills, not just about the technical side of the job but also personal skills like time management as well as others

Its very clear as you know where to go for certain things. you have direct link to your line manager for day to day tasks
How much support do you receive from your employer?

Alot of support from regular CPDs to expand my knowledge to QA sessions where we go through items and how to improve them and why we need to change them
How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?

We receive plenty of support for example we get provided with study leave for exams if we feel we need it
How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?

I feel most of my skills i use regularly at work have come from learning on the job but there are certain things that I've needed that Uni has taught me like formulas and technical but not as much as what i learn on the job
Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)

there is regular social activities with the team, and occasionaly get offers for people to play in sports events like football tournament etc
