As a Student Nursing Associate, I support the delivery pf safe, person centred care under supervision. I assist with personal care, take basic observations, and report any concerns. I also help maintain a safe environment, complete accurate documentation, and communicate with the team. As a student, I'm continuously learning and developing my skills in practice
To what extent do you enjoy your programme?

I am really enjoying my programme. It's challenging but rewarding, and I have gained valuable skills and confidence through both learning and placements. I especially enjoy the hands-on experience and being able to make a positive difference in patient's lives

Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?

Yes, I have learnt a range of new skills, including taking clinical observations, effective communication and accurate documentation. I have also developed my team work and time management skills, and become more confident in recognising and reporting changes in patients' conditions

They provide clear teaching, regular review meetings, and guidance to help me stay on track with my coursework and competences. My tutors are approachable, and I can ask for help when needed, which supports my learning and development.

I feel my qualification supports me well in my role. The theory I learn through my training provider links closely to my practice, helping me understand the reasons behind the care I provide. It improves my confidence, decision- making, and ability to deliver safe, evidence-based care during placements
