Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:

My role involves cashing up, managing OurTime (time management system) inclusing managing holidays, sicknesses & absences, managing schedules and clocking in and out. I also complete onboarding for new positions, including carrying out a DBS check, organising personnel files, and am regularly contacted for any IT help from within the team.
To what extent do you enjoy your programme?

The programme is allowing me to explore further into HR and develop my knowledge and skills surrounding this subject area. It is keeping me on my toes and allows me to interact with other students who are also completing the course and gain understanding and insight of what this subject area could look like in different positions.
Skills Development
Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?

I have been able to develop my existing skills such as time management and general theory surrounding subject areas such as ethics and moral codes. I am continuing to expand my skillset surrounding more HR related areas, including understanding grievance procedures, handling confidential information etc.
Structure and Support
How well organised/structured is your programme?

I am set regular work with deadlines, always giving me something to do. I have regular taught sessions with my mentor and other students, as well as formal reviews where I can track and see my progress grow.
How much support do you receive from your employer?

I have regular calls with someone who handles the apprenticeships internally to ensure I am receiving enough support and everything is still on track.
How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?

I have mock exams preparing me for the end of the apprenticeship, I can email if I ever need any further support, and I always receive feedback on my work, helping me improve and grow as a learner.
How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?
