Overview of Role

Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:
5/5
In my role I manage clients, keep the team on top of their targets and ensure that operations run smoothly through the team. I present, analyse and create opportunities with data and insights.
To what extent do you enjoy your programme?
5/5
Programme is great, lots of social activities and opportunities for development. Line managers want to see you succeed and always there to help with work and the degree side.

Skills Development

Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?
5/5
Countless skills, all Microsoft programmes, presentations, analysis and social skills. My study has improved along with my writing style and confidence in managing

Structure and Support

How well organised/structured is your programme?
4/5
Study is good and has got a lot better, but was definitely teething problems to start with. We were the first cohort so it was likely to happen, and years below have definitely had a marked improvement. The skills coaches are helpful and quick to respond and fix
How much support do you receive from your employer?
5/5
Quick responses and keen to help you find the right rotations for you.
How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?
5/5
Lots of support and they do listen to our problems. The PDEs are good and always relay negative feedback to improve processes, which has been enacted and caused a real change.
How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?
5/5
I'll have a degree so much better positioned than I would have been coming straight from school. I think that the experience combined with the degree has created the best combination for growth and developement.
Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)
5/5
So many, clubs, sport, employees resource groups and support and countless socials and dinners, team and office wide.

Recommendations & Advice

Would you recommend Visa to a friend?
Yes
Why?
Great company, great benefits and really good experience with the rotations to help figure out where you want to end up. Teams are friendly and I have never felt like an apprentice, always felt like a true member of the team
What tips or advice would you give to others applying to Visa?
Research the company! Know your stuff and why you want to work there. Try to get as much work experience as you can and apply them in interviews. All experience is good experience, it's all about how you apply it.
