Overview of Role

Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:
5/5
It is a rotational program where you move between key business functions every 6 months. I have completed roles in client services and now I am in Risk. Often my tasks are a mix of admin (excel, ppt, etc) and a mix of communicating with key stakeholders both internally and externally on cross functional projects
To what extent do you enjoy your programme?
5/5
I am currently really enjoying the program, although some rotations I enjoy more than others, it still gives you a good oversight of the business and key pillars of the firm.

Skills Development

Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?
5/5
I learnt many admin based skills such as powerbi, excel, powerpoint. As well as soft skills such as presenting, managing deadlines, and communication.

Structure and Support

How well organised/structured is your programme?
4/5
The program is well structured throughout, with it being rotational you get to see a lot of the business. However, sometimes 6 months is not enough to fully see what a team does, but that is the nature of any rotational program.
How much support do you receive from your employer?
5/5
You have weekly check ins with your manager as well as quarterly check ins with the early careers team, this allows you to feel constantly supported and a safe space if you are struggling or have any doubts.
How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?
5/5
You are provided a study day, as well as monthly check ins with your personal development coach at the university, there are also many workshops and resources to help.
How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?
4/5
It helps a lot with developing skills, but often what you are needing to do in your job role doesn't always align with the course or at the same time.
Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)
3/5
Yes, there is a padel team, football team and run club. However, there definately could be more, be better structured or happen more frequently.
