Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:

Level 3 Data Citizen Apprenticeship undertaken to upskill knowledge, skills and behaviours in the data analytics arena. My role involves the recruitment of approximately 100 students per year as well as looking after our Graduate Programme, Summer Student Programme and Virtual/In-Person Work experience. The Apprenticeship will help me to better analyse the recruiting behaviours of students past and present.
To what extent do you enjoy your programme?

Excellent course run by Cambridge Spark with clear weekly expectations and instant results in terms of learning and the tools I didn't know existed!!
Skills Development
Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?

I've developed a large number of new skills in Excel, with plenty of shortcuts that will make day to day work far easier. We've also looked into AI support and data analytics as well the importance of clean data!
Structure and Support
How well organised/structured is your programme?

Excellent organisation and excellent support. The online videos are engaging, to the point and easy to follow and understand. There is also lots of self-led learning that imbeds learning before the online course, and after.

How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?

Excellent support from the training provider! I have my own dedicated coach and mentor, as well as having access to weekly drop in sessions with trainers directly to support the implementation of the learning into my day to day work
How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?

I'm hoping it will save me a lot of time in my day to day work allowing me to focus on other meaningful work! My role is currently very admin heavy and the excel learning I have had to date is already having a great impact!
Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)

Yes, lots of opportunities for football, netball and everyday is a professional networking event!

The company really support you to continue to learn and grow through a colleague development Apprenticeship. It's part of my annual goals and continuous learning and growth conversations happen constantly.
What tips or advice would you give to others applying to Pfizer?
Ensure you follow the application process and understand what the company are asking you to complete. Have a good understanding of the job description before you apply and make sure you do a little research prior to applying as it can make all the difference at interview.
