I am an audit assistant working on large audits for corporate clients. On a day to day basis it can vary from being in the office, out on site or working remotely speaking to clients to perform carefully designed tests on transactions to ensure their financial statements are free from material misstatement.
To what extent do you enjoy your programme?

This programme is brilliant as I can get a diverse range of experience in different industries by speaking to different clients. The only difficult part is balancing study with work, other than that, the programme is amazing

Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?

I have learnt many new skills across my programme so far. This has been done through studies and learning on the job through actual work. I have gained confidence speaking to clients and now understand business transactions on a far deeper level

How well organised/structured is your programme?

The programme structure is incredibly well organised with clear times for work and study with new resources being provided well in advance to ensure you are ready for studies and constant communication between the college and the employer
How much support do you receive from your employer?

I receive lots of support from my employer with regular catchups with line managers and other colleagues in a similar position
How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?

There is lots of support from the training provider with regular check in calls and a tutor being available to answer questions about studies whenever you need
How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?

This qualification gives me the fundamental knowledge to perform my role and gradually increases in depth and difficulty as I progress through my role

There is no team activities to get involved in at our work, but, there are frequent socials amongst teams to allow team bonding
